My Story
My name is Denise, for the past 32 years i have been a carer, i have been blessed with the many people i have cared for during those years. I have worked privately in care for the last 15 years. Alongside care work i had a great interest in alternative therapies, especially reiki.
Having had a traumatic childhood/young teenage life it lead me toward self healing therapies. This is where i found Reiki and i have never turned back.
I completed Reiki 1 in 2001, Reiki 2 in 2002 and my Reiki Maters degree in 2008. I then went on to complete Vitali-Chi Energy and Wellbeing Practitioner course in 2014, with other degrees in meditation in 2017.
Now at 62 years old i am going forward with my alternative therapies, as my passion for healing and helping others is strong within, to assist and help others as i was once assisted.
I look forward to meeting you.

My Approach
Reiki is great because it offers a holistic approach to healing, addressing both the mind and body. It promotes deep relaxation, which can help reduce stress and anxiety. The gentle nature of Reiki allows individuals to experience a sense of peace and tranquility, making it accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. Additionally, its non-invasive techniques can complement other forms of therapy, enhancing overall wellness and emotional balance.
Reiki is a holistic healing technique that involves the practitioner channeling energy to the recipient through gentle touch or by placing their hands near the body. During a typical session, the recipient lies down fully clothed, while the practitioner lightly places their hands on or above specific areas, promoting relaxation and balance. The process aims to enhance the recipient's natural healing abilities and restore harmony to the mind, body, and spirit. Sessions often last between 60 to 90 minutes, allowing for a deep sense of peace and well-being.
